Founded ten years ago, DoctorInternet was the first online health information site aimed at Arabic patients who travel abroad for treatment. Created by Dr Faisal Kufaishi and Dr Hanaa Alasam, two forward looking Arabic physicians based in London, DoctorInternet has now become part of the Intuition network of healthcare web sites that include Treatment Abroad and International Medical Travel Journal.
DoctorInternet is aimed at the Arabic patient and his or her family who are actively researching a solution to their healthcare needs and the options for medical treatment or surgery outside of their home country.
DoctorInternet has a long established web presence; first established in 1998, over 1,500 Arabic language web sites across the Middle East link to the site. As a result, it is highly ranked by Arabic versions of Google and other Arabic language search engines and portals.
